Last week in Cincinnati, Ohio, EasyCare attended the International Hoof Care Summit. We had our booth set up with all of our current products, as well as a few new products that will be available for sale later this year. We also gave attendees the opportunity to try their hand at heat-welding our 11 Finger Tabs to our Versa Grip Light shoes.
The Summit was well-attended, and we had a continuous flow of attendees coming by the booth throughout all three of the trade show sessions. As always, we had interest in our entire lineup of boots and glue-on shoes. The newer items, including the Glove 50 and the Remedy boots, were very well received, and many customers were asking where they can purchase them.
Our Versa Grip series of shoes and tabs are incredibly popular right now. Many people have been using the tabs and the Versa Grip shoes, but they were anxious to tell us how well they work, and that they are using them on quite a few of their clients’ horses. People newer to the tabs were excited to be able to try their hand at welding the tabs to the shoes. Most of them going through the process were commenting that it was easier than they originally expected.
The biggest point of interest at our booth was the new (not yet available, but coming soon!) EasyShoe Versa Glue, along with the new 2.5 degree wedge. “When can I get these?” was the number one question asked in the booth. The EasyShoe Versa Glue is our newest addition to the Versa series, and a show stopper. I saw plenty of people walk by the booth and then suddenly stop when they saw the display. I have no doubt that this shoe and the wedges will be a huge success.
All in all, we had a fantastic show. It was great to meet new people, as well as put faces to the some of the names and voices we already know. We look forward to this event every year, and getting to meet and talk with our patrons is the main reason we get excited about it.
