Ever wonder how some HCP’s turn out glue jobs that look consistently, well, perfect? This month we are taking you a step beyond producing glue jobs that simply perform, to glue jobs that blow the competition away. Spend just a couple extra minutes on your EasyShoe applications and you too can be consistently turning out top shelf work suited to the most discriminating client.

Bad glue can happen to good people but it does not have to happen to you.

Hoof Buffy. Indispensable for correct hoof prep, the Buffy also makes seamless transitions from cuff to glue to hoof wall-and it does it fast!

Cement Dye. Customize your glue to match each foot or shoe. No clashing Ugly Betty’s here! Get yourself a 60 cc syringe to make storing and dispensing dye a snap. Use two cc of dye for six pumps of EasyShoe Bond Slow or Fast Set. This should be just right for four cuffs or two feet.

Super Glue. This is your secret weapon. Not only does it seal off edges, it leaves a slick glossy finish on hooves. You wouldn’t put on your tux and leave off the bow tie would you? We like the big bottles from Curtis Burns at Polyflex-it’s less viscous and soaks into the hoof wall nicely.

It’s often been said that if you want to be good, you’ve got to look good. We hope these insider tips help you put your best hoof forward and start the new year looking better than ever.
