We are having our third annual marvelous series of trail rides across the state of Arizona with my mom (let me brag, she’s 82) and her 3 Icelandics, two horse girlfriends, and myself and my husband (we’re riding Tennessee Walking Horses, who appreciate the boots. ) Those Icelandics are tough! All our horses are from NY, and we’re here for the riding.
Met the hoof boots through Kevin, who we were really glad to have at our barefoot Dr. Teskey clinic. Attached please find some photos of this year’s ride. These are from Sedona; now we’re riding Lakeside, then Greer, then Springerville, then Cottonwood…. Toughing it during the days, fancy bed and breakfasts at night! Hard to see the black boots on the black mares (which was why I liked the color, but not very good for photographing!)
