We are pleased to add the Ride The Divide four-day pioneer event in Catron County, NM as a participating member of the EasyCare partner rides across the country. That means there are some wonderful completion awards sponsored by EasyCare.

There will also be EasyCare representatives on site on May 26 and 27 to help with boot fitting and gluing. If you’re planning on attending and would like some help or guidance, please drop us a line at marketing@easycareinc.com and we’ll set up an appointment for you.

Ride the Continental Divide on top of the world in enchanting New Mexico! Enjoy the unique opportunity to experience tough, challenging trails including a portion of the official Continental Divide trail.

Organized by the Catron County Citizen’s Group and sanctioned by AERC, this ride promises you mountain views of Ponderosa pine forests and high country woodlands and grasslands, as well as elk and other wildlife. Non-riding family members can fish on nearby Quemado Lake or just enjoy the peace and quiet of our remote private ride camp.

One base camp, two trails, four days = easy for crews and riders!

  •   There is plenty of room for parking rigs at base camp.
  •   Horse water will be available in camp and on trail.
  •   Riders should be totally self-contained.
  •   Base camp is at approximately 7880 ft. altitude. Be prepared for any kind of weather.
  •   Gas, restaurant, groceries, fishing and other amemities avaliable within a few miles.

Base camp is at the El Caso Ranch private campground near Quemado Lake in Catron County, NM. There will be porta potties and good parking, but no potable water. Base camp is only a couple of miles from a general store, gas pumps and a cafe with a bar. Quemado Lake offers fishing and boat rentals. The ride trails use private, forest and county roads and trails. Evening meals are optional with your entry.

There will be many fun and valuable door prizes at ride meetings. This ride is an excellent preparation for Tevis.

Director of Marketing

I am responsible for the marketing and branding of the EasyCare product line. I believe there is a great deal to be gained from the strategy of using booted protection for horses, no matter what the job you have for your equine partner.

  1. We’re looking at nice weather for RTD: Chance of T-storms Thursday and Friday but sunny and warm Saturday, in the mid- to high-70s during the day and low 40s at night. Should make for great (non-dusty) trails!
