Shoeless and Sound Dressage at 25

This is Jumping Jack Flash. He is an upper level dressage and driving horse; a clydesdale stallion now 25 years old. He was shod for over 16 years. I used to think all horses should be shod for competition. That was before I started to feel him back off and feel foot sore. I began to study the foot. After extensive study and schooling, I removed his shoes, and he loved it...bucking and playing around his pasture. You can see his healthy feet as I work him on long lines last spring. He is sound shoeless on all surfaces. I do use Easyboot Epics if going on rocky territory that his feet are not conditioned for.
