On Sunday Oct 31st, several of the EasyCare team got together and walked for the Cure. This year the walk for Breast Cancer Awareness was held at Tucson Electric Park. What a great venue that is. Tucson hosts this event every year in October. The centerfield was filled with walkers, survivors, loud music, balloons, you name it. Everyone was super-charged and ready to walk.

The EasyCare team was raring to go.We even had two of our postal workers come along with us on the walk. We wore our pink iBoot t-shirts with pride to proclaim that EasyCare really cares. We strive to make a difference in the lives of horses and people too!

Chris (EC), Nannette (USPS), Vivian (USPS), Nancy (EC), Hannah, Marcie (EC) and Dee (EC)

Everyone that walked was so enthusiatic and dedicated to the cause. There were even guys there that wore pink wigs, ladies t-shirts, and put funny sayings on their shirts to proclaim the saving of lives by the awareness and donations made for this deadly disease. It not only affects the lives of women, but men can get and die from breast cancer too.

Several walkers

        More dedicated walkers

EasyCare still has a limited number of the t-shirts available for sale. Go to our Easyboot Facebook page and select the ‘We Love our Fans’ tab to see the promotion still going on for the shirts. EasyCare is donating $5.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation as support for the cause for every shirt that is sold. Better get yours now as they will soon be sold out. They are in ladies sizing only and are really nice wearing shirts. You can wear them anytime to show your support all year long.

We have done this walk as a team for the last several years and will continue to. It is a great way to do something constructive that we all believe in. Some of us have been touched by this disease with family members, relatives, friends and first hand. If everyone in the U.S. walked and everyone gave even just $1.00, think of the difference we could make together. Try it, you might like it.

What can you make a difference in? Make your list and get out there.
