Summer is officially here! Depending where you live, you’ll be enjoying longer, warmer days which means more time at the barn doing what you love! No matter what discipline you ride, we have a few product suggestions to help you make the most of your summer adventures with your horse.

Easyboot Trail

Hitting the trails this summer? If your horse is barefoot, the Easyboot Trail is a staple to keep in the barn. The Trail is the easiest hoof boot to apply with the wide opening. Within a matter of seconds, you can throw on the boots and hit the trails with confidence. The outer shield makes the Trail durable for any terrain. If you are crossing through streams, the small holes in the bottom of the boot allow water to drain. One of the pros to using the Trail is it is more forgiving in fit. As your horse grows more hoof during the trim cycle, your boots will still fit just fine. The Trail is best suited for a pleasure rider, or roughly 25 miles per week.

Easyboot Glove Soft

If you plan on racking up some serious mileage, the Easyboot Glove Soft may be a better fit for you. The Easyboot Glove Soft truly fits like a glove – it acts as a second skin protecting the horse’s hooves and providing traction on rough terrain. The Glove Soft is best suited for an avid trail rider or endurance rider planning on training/competing more miles, over 50 miles per week. The Glove Soft can withstand intense terrain, deep mud, and water crossings. The only con to the Glove Soft is that it fits very snuggly, so it requires some more elbow grease to get on and off. If you are looking for the most durable, lightweight option, the Glove Soft is a great choice for you.

Easyboot Back Country

If ease of application is your top priority but you want to ride more miles, the Easyboot Back Country is a great happy medium. The Back Country is built on the same shell as the Glove Soft, providing the same traction as the Glove Soft. However, the Back Country offers a closure system that is comparable to our Pleasure Riding boots, making the application easier. The Back Country is a little bit more forgiving with sizing, whereas the Glove Soft requires a very precise fit. Keep in mind, the Back Country will weigh more than the Glove Soft because of the additional hardware.

EasyShoe Versa Grip Line

If your horse is not barefoot, our EasyShoe Versa Grip Line is an excellent choice for summer adventures. Rather than applying and removing before each ride, you can apply the shoes and leave them on for a full trim cycle (4-6 weeks). When it’s time to remove and trim, you can usually reset the shoes a couple of times depending on the environment and wear on the shoes. The Versa Grip Line is our most versatile shoe lineup, consisting of nail-on and glue-on options. We see these shoes excel in every discipline, including but not limited to, hunter/jumper, upper level show jumping, eventing, dressage, endurance, trail riding, western pleasure, barrel racing, pole bending, and carriage driving.

You can choose between nail-on options such as the Versa Grip and Versa Grip Gold

Or glue-on options such as the Versa Grip Light, Versa Grip Octo, and Versa Grip Glue.

Easyboot Cloud

If you are traveling to off property to horse shows or back country trips, you’ll want to be sure your horse arrives safely and feeling their best. The Easyboot Cloud is a staple for all horse owners, especially for trailering! The Cloud comes with a shock absorbing EVA Pad, helping your horse absorb bumps, turns, and unexpected stops on the trailer. Additionally, the Cloud provides comfort while stabling or standing for extended periods of time. If you are standing around at competitions on concrete, the Cloud will prevent hoof soreness and help prevent stocking up.

What plans do you have for the summer? We can’t wait to see where your EasyCare products take you!
