The EasyShoe One Glue comes with integrated cuffs designed for gap filling adhesives (acrylic or urethane glue). However, if you are a fan of Super Glue, now we have an accessory that allows you to “convert” the EasyShoe One Glue into a Super Glue shoe!

The NEW EasyShoe One Mushroom Cuff allows you to apply the EasyShoe One Glue with Super Glue instead of a gap filling adhesive.

How does it work?

You will need to purchase 2 pairs of Mushroom Tabs for 1 pair of EasyShoe One Glues. Choose the same size Mushroom Cuff as the shoe size. If your horse wears a 126 shoe, you will need 126 Mushroom Cuffs.

Snap the Mushroom Cuff into the integrated cuffs on the EasyShoe One Glue. Then the inner cuff will have a smooth, flat surface rather than the dimpled holes.

How do I apply? How do I make sure the cuff lines up with the shoes?

You will apply the shoe + cuffs as you would our other Super Glue styled shoes. Be sure to snap the Mushroom Cuffs into the integrated cuffs on the EasyShoe One Glue BEFORE you glue. This ensures they will line up correctly.

After snapping the Mushroom Cuff in, the inside of the cuff will be smooth for Super Glue.

To apply, you can apply Super Glue inside the cuffs first, then slip the shoe on the hoof and wrap. Or, you can slip the shoe on the hoof and apply Super Glue while the horse stands on all 4 feet. Either application method will work well.

Wrap the hoof so the Super Glue can dry.

How do I reset?

When it’s time for a trim, you will need to remove the Mushroom Cuffs from the hoof wall prior to trimming the hooves. You can use hoof nippers to peel the Mushroom Cuffs off the hoof wall. Trim the hoof, prep the hoof for glue, and re-apply.

Step 1: Snap off the One Glue from the Mushroom Cuffs.
Step 2: Peel the Mushroom Tabs off the hoof wall using hoof nippers.

Can I remove the shoes and leave the Mushroom Cuffs on the hoof?

While it is possible to remove the shoes without removing the Mushroom Cuffs, the Mushroom Cuffs are not designed specifically for daily application and removal. Frequent applying and removing may wear out the cuffs faster.

We have a shoe in testing that will allow for daily applying and removing like a hoof boot.

Can I turn my horse out barefoot and then apply the shoes occasionally?

Theoretically, you could turn your horse out in a pasture barefoot and then apply the shoes on occasion. We do not recommend daily applying and removing as it will wear the cuffs out more quickly. Please note: If your horse is turned out on rocky terrain, there is a slight possibility the hoof will wear out or “self trim” and impact the alignment of the shoe and cuffs, but it is an unusual case.

Can I use the Mushroom Cuffs with other EasyShoes?

No, the Mushroom Cuffs are designed specifically for the EasyShoe One Glue.

Can I use the Mushroom Cuff for performance riding?

Yes! The snaps will hold secure for riding. If you are concerned about losing a shoe, we recommend reinforcing the Mushroom Cuffs by Super Gluing them to the cuff on the One Glue.

We are so excited for you to try this new innovative technology!
