My futurity horse, Ollie, recently made his first competitive run in the EasyShoe Speed, and I couldn’t be happier with how he performed.
With guidance from my farrier, Christian McCormick at Denali Professional Farriery & Rehabilitation, we chose the EasyShoe Speed to allow his hoof to grow without restriction while still providing the support and protection he needs to compete.
The EasyShoe Versa Grip Glue had already been a career saver for my open horse, so continuing with glue-on EasyShoes for my up-and-coming horses was an easy decision. The EasyShoe Speed not only protects the hoof, but also helps reduce concussion and consistently last through the entire shoeing cycle. In my experience, my horses have lost fewer glue-on shoes than traditional nailed shoes.
Overall, my goals are longevity and the highest level of care I can provide and EasyCare is a staple to my program. I truly credit a big part of my horses’ soundness and performance to their shoeing setup.
