My gelding, Ty, was born on a sunny afternoon in May, 2004. I was there when he took his first breath. Throughout the years he has remained the most dependable horse I’ve ever known.
Ty is now 17 years old, and he is helping teach my 7-year-old granddaughter, Avery, to ride. She loves spending time with Ty, whether she’s grooming him, feeding, or riding. She is all in! Horse time is the best time.
In 2021, Ty and Avery participated in their first lead line show. She placed in all 14 of her classes and took home Reserve Champion in Lead Line Walk/Trot!
She absolutely loves Ty, and I think the feeling is mutual.
