EasyCare is proud of our long-standing relationships with some of the largest, most respected, equine care companies in the world.  

Did you know that Australia was one of the first countries to embrace barefoot/booted riding? We at Easycare Down Under have provided the barefoot market in Australia with hoof boots for over fourteen years now. Our love of horses, endurance riding, and natural horsemanship inspired us to make the EasyCare range of hoof boots freely available in our part of the world. We are pleased to be able to help many riders find the right boots to meet their needs as more natural forms of hoof protection are continuing to grow in popularity.

Meet the Team

Mike Ware, our owner/manager, is a trained Equine Podiotherapist. He co-founded the Australian College of Equine Podiotherapy, a two-year program for professional hoof care providers that focuses on rehabilitative hoof care.

Mike enjoys helping customers and veterinarians who are dealing with serious hoof issues understand how the extensive EasyCare boot collection could help their horses’ rehabilitation process.

Our office administration and sales departments are led by Cassandra Hamel. Cassandra has extensive product knowledge and can always assist customers and professionals alike with complex fitting issues. She is also our point of contact for the many veterinarians who use the therapy line of Easyboots.

Mandy Eaton, who also has extensive knowledge of EasyCare products, assists Cassandra. Mandy has used Easycare hoof boots on her own horses for many years.

We feel that EasyCare Inc. is at the forefront of research and development of hoof protection products. We love that we can always look forward to offering our customers the latest innovative designs in both Easyboots and Easyshoes.

Featured Customer

One of our customers, Melissa Longhurst along with her horse Pioneer Park Wings of Sudan, is pictured here competing in the difficult, long-distance, endurance ride known as The Shahzada. This grueling ride requires participants to cover 400 kilometers (about 249 miles). Melissa won this prestigious event in 38 hours and 56 minutes using Easyboot Glue-On shells. The horse and rider that came in second took 42 hours and 37 minutes. Melissa and her horse are an amazing team!

Only six weeks prior to this event, Melissa and her horse also won the Pioneer Trek, another 400 kilometer race. Melissa and her horse have completed and won both the Shahzada and the Pioneer two years running now!

Melissa is an Equine Podiotherapist and wants the absolute best hoof protection for her endurance horse. The goal is to reduce concussion and completely protect the hoof capsule. She chose the Easyboot Glue-On shells because they meet these requirements.
