We recently received the long anticipated EasyShoe One Mushroom Cuffs. We applied Warrior’s using the ‘remove and replace’ method, and Bentley’s using the non-removable method (gluing the cuff to the shoe).
We took the boys (Bentley and Warrior) out for their maiden ride after applying the Mushroom Cuffs. First impression, very impressed! We did a quick paced 12-mile ride on damp, rocky footing with no slipping. Both horses put on a beautiful, big trot telling us that they were very comfortable in them. The shoes held perfectly!
Next up was Cache Creek Endurance Ride. Bentley wore the new EasyShoe One Glue with Mushroom Cuffs on his front hooves the tried-and-true Versa Grip Octos on the hinds.

Cache Creek was a fantastic ride, as always. This ride is always a must-do for Tevis Cup prep. The weather forecast was questionable for Saturday. We arrived at ride camp on Thursday to enjoy the warm sun and green grass, keeping our fingers crossed that the weatherman’s rain on Saturday would stay away. We ended up with a perfect, sunny day on Saturday with highs in the high 70s. My goal was to have a good, steady ride and a great hill pump. There was lots of deep mud on the low spots this year, and tall, slick, green grass.

Bentley loves to canter, but I have to say when he did trot it was the best it’s ever been. Bigger, lighter faster! No doubt at all that he approves of the softer destiny frog support on the EasyShoe One Glue. Bentley came in 1st Place in the 50-Mile sporting the EasyShoe One Mushroom Cuffs and Versa Grip Octo.

John and his young horse Warrior enjoyed another LD together. They rode alone most of the day. They took the win in the 25-Mile. I’d say we had a good luck day all around. Warrior was also in the EasyShoe One with Mushroom Cuffs. The cuffs were not glued to the shoe and he had zero issues with the new system!

We were both super impressed considering the amount of DEEP muddy spots we had to cross shoes and the shoes stayed on! We saw many steel shoes on the trail after the muddy spots even a broken boot.
I believe this will be my Tevis Cup shoe. Thank you EasyCare!
