Meet the new EasyShoe Versa Grip Plug. The Versa Grip Plug attaches to all EasyShoes in the Versa Grip lineup. Add the Versa Grip Plug to prevent mud, debris, snow, or ice from packing under the hoof. The Versa Grip Plug can be applied to the shoe with EasyShoe Quick Set Super Glue, screws, or heat-welding.
The Versa Grip Plugs are made to fit each specific size and pattern (front or hind) of the EasyShoe Versa Grip. For example, if your horse wears a size 122F in the Versa Grip Light, you would need a size 122F in the Plug. The Plug can be added to the Versa Grip shoe before application to the horse or any time during the shoeing cycle.
Here is the Plug going out for a ride in the snow. These Plugs were applied with Super Glue after putting the shoe on. They are ideal for both riding and turnout. For additional traction in snow and ice, we recommend adding EasyCare Quick Studs to your horseshoe.
