HoofLox Acrylic in Natural is the only transparent acrylic adhesive in the equine industry. With a thin coat of Acrylic in Natural, you can seamlessly match the hoof color for a beautiful, natural finish. This is game changing for competitions judged on presentation.

HoofLox Acrylic
HoofLof Acrylic is a 150ml adhesive offered in Black and Natural colors. This is a gap-filling adhesive designed to work with our cuff-style EasyShoes, including the EasyShoe One Glue, Versa Grip Glue, EasyShoe Speed, EasyShoe Race, EasyShoe Roller. It has a fast application time of 90 – 120 seconds and is fully loadable after 5 min.
The Natural color has a transparent finish, making it a great choice for light colored or multicolored hooves. Acrylic adhesive is known for being a little bit more forgiving and giving more flexion after it dries. As the horse runs and plays, the adhesive will have some flex along with the hoof wall and shoe.
HoofLox Acrylic is in a 150ml cartridge. This compact size is a bit easier to handle and maneuver compared to the larger 420ml acrylic (HoofLox Platinum). Also, if you are only shoeing one-two horse at a time, this size is more preferable to prevent any glue from going to waste.
This 150ml adhesive will only work in a 150ml Glue Dispensing Gun. You may also use a standard caulking gun from your local hardware store and add the HoofLox Adapter for Standard Caulking Gun.
HoofLox Urethane & Urethane Fast
HoofLox Urethane (Slow Set) and Urethane Fast (Fast Set) is offered in a 200ml cartridge that is standard to fit the 210cc Vettec Glue Dispensing Gun. We also offer a high quality Glue Dispensing Gun. The adhesive dries black, making it a good choice for dark colored hooves. HoofLox Urethane is also a gap-filling adhesive designed to work with our cuff-style EasyShoes, including the EasyShoe One Glue, Versa Grip Glue, EasyShoe Speed, EasyShoe Race, EasyShoe Roller.
HoofLox Urethane is the only urethane formula in the equine market with less than 0.1% MDI. This makes HoofLox Urethane exempt from the training and certification requirements, and more importantly, makes it the safest and most user-friendly urethane glue on the market for both farriers and animals.
HoofLox Urethane has a fast application time of 90 – 120 seconds and is fully loadable after 7 min.
HoofLox Urethane Fast has a fast application time of 15 – 20 seconds and is fully loadable after 4 min.
Exterior temperature may influence your glue choice. When outside temperatures are cooler, glue will cure slower. When outside temperatures are hotter, glue will cure quicker. Slow Set Urethane is a common choice in the summer to ensure the glue doesn’t set too quickly, and on the contrary, Fast Set is a common choice in the winter to speed up the curing process.
HoofLox Super Glue
If you are familiar with EasyShoe Super Glue, you will have the same gluing experience with HoofLox Super Glue. HoofLox Super Glue is designed for our tab-style EasyShoes, such as the Versa Grip Octo, EasyShoe 3D, Sticky Finger Tabs, Stealth Tabs, and Mushroom Cuffs.
HoofLox Super Glue is available in 50g and 150g bottles. No Dispensing Gun or Mixing Tips are required to use Super Glue.
We recommend leaving the hoof wrapped for at least 10 minutes for a Super Glue application, possibly longer in colder weather.
HoofLox Super Glue Activator
HoofLox Super Glue Activator Spray activates Super Glue in 6 to 8 seconds without any degrading of the glue’s strength. When the Activator Spray touches the Super Glue, it will bond almost instantly. This helps speed up the gluing process and ensure the shoe doesn’t shift while the glue dries.
HoofLox Hoof & Shoe Cleaner
HoofLox Hoof & Shoe Cleaner is ideal for prepping the hoof before glue, especially in extremely dirty or wet conditions. It can also help clean up a shoe before resetting.
HoofLox SoftPak
If you are familiar with our EasyShoe SoftPak, you will have the same experience. HoofLox SoftPak is in a 200ml cartridge which will work with our Urethane Glue Dispensing Gun or the 210cc Vettec Dispenser. The set time is about 45 seconds.
HoofLox SoftPak is a packing material that can be applied to the sole of the hoof underneath Easyboots and EasyShoes. It offers medium firmness and strong shock absorption qualities with a hardness shore 40A. Its strong adhesion blocks the negative impact of bacteria to frog throughout the trimming period.
HoofLox Platinum
HoofLox Platinum is our premium acrylic adhesive, available in a 420ml tube. The adhesive is comparable to our EasyShoe Bond Glue. It will work in the 420ml glue dispensing gun. Platinum will continue to be a high quality acrylic option and the larger tube is ideal for farriers gluing multiple horses at a time.
