A friend of mine has owned an antique sleigh for many years and it was his dream to take a drive in his sleigh. We had been practicing with a surrey so we were ready for the first snow. These pictures are from our first sleigh ride. The snow caught us by surprise and we needed to use hoof boots to keep the snow from collecting in my mare’s shoes. The boots worked so well, we left them on until the snow melted. We had an awesome time in the snow driving the sleigh even though the high that day was -10 degrees!
