EasyCare was happy to be part of the recent Oleo Acres Modern Materials Clinic. We had a great time with a group of farriers eager to learn more about using glue on techniques and shoes. The clinic was sponsored by the folks at Grand Circuit, and we appreciate their efforts in continuing education events.
The clinic technician was Remington Leach of Purcell Farrier School. Remington did a fantastic job covering the techniques of direct glueing along with indirect glueing using different styles of shoes. The first day, Remington showed the techniques used in both applications, and it was awesome to have the attendees asking many questions and adding in some of their experiences. Many intriguing discussions were had along with a vast array of tips and tricks for gluing on shoes.
The second day, attendees were able to apply a shoe of their choice. The EasyShoe Versa Grip Glue was a popular request. In my opinion, there is no better way to learn than by applying the techniques you just watched and discussed in a live setting. Hands-on experience is worth the effort if you ever get the chance to attend a clinic. I believe that everyone who attended and applied shoes walked away with a better understanding of how to apply multiple glue-on techniques.
Once again, EasyCare would like to extend a huge “thank you” to the wonderful staff at Oleo Acres, Remington Leach, and Grand Circuit for putting on a stellar event and allowing EasyCare to be a part of the excitement.
