Last week, the EasyCare Team traveled to Kentucky, kicking off the week at Kentucky Horseshoeing School’s Warm Up Clinic then spent the rest of the week at the International Hoof-Care Summit.

On Monday, our team attended the Warm-Up Clinic at the Kentucky Horseshoeing School in Lexington, KY. The clinic consisted of several trimming and shoeing demos, including a rehab case where the EasyShoe Roller was applied with HoofLox Acrylic. Students were able to ask questions and get hands-on with the EasyShoe Lineup. We enjoyed working with this great group of young, enthusiastic future farriers!

On Tuesday, we kicked off the International Hoof Care Summit in Covington, KY with a Glue-On Clinic. After a brief presentation by EasyCare President, Garrett Ford, participants broke up into smaller groups and were able to glue the EasyShoe One Glue with HoofLox Urethane on a plastic hoof.

Many participants were familiar with the gluing process and wanted to tune their skills, but some participants were new to gluing. We received great feedback from farriers, including “I had seen videos online and was interested in gluing, but I was reluctant to make the jump. But after seeing the process for myself, now I am ready to add composite glue-on shoes to my practice.” Each hands-on participant was able to take home their work.

At the end of each session, we did a drawing for a free EasyCare x Yeti cooler. Two lucky farriers walked away with a Yeti cooler to keep their adhesives at consistent temperatures in their truck!

After the Glue-On Clinic, EasyCare HCP/Vet Dealer Representative, Dan Schroeder, did classroom sessions where he discussed the full EasyShoe Lineup, covering the similarities and differences between each shoe style. Each session was well attended and participants asked insightful questions to help them determine which shoes would best suit their practice.

The remainder of the week was spent at the trade show. Farriers were able to talk with the EasyCare team, ask questions about our products, share success stories, and get an inside look at new products and products in testing. We always enjoy getting to see familiar faces and make new connections at the Summit.

Dan Schroeder shares more insight on the week.
“EasyCare just got back from the IHCS in Kentucky. To say it was a great event would be an understatement. Our booth had eight people working in it, and we were busy the whole time talking with vets and farriers from all over the world. It’s amazing to think how many people across the globe utilize EasyCare products in their hoof care practices.
It’s always a great time meeting up with our dealers and being able to put a face to the name that we talk to over email and phone. The IHCS is always an event that we look forward to.”

Innovation is at the heart of everything we do, and there’s nothing better than connecting with farriers who are passionate about moving the needle forward in equine hoof care. From hands-on clinics to meaningful conversations, we loved sharing innovative solutions, learning from others, and seeing both new and familiar faces.

Thank you to everyone who joined us – we’re inspired by this community and excited to share the innovative products we have in store. Stay tuned for more clinics and events coming this spring! Follow us on social media and subscribe to our newsletter so you never miss an event.
