We wanted to share a success story that our customer, Sally, shared with us recently. She has had great experiences using the Easyboot Cloud

I have a 17-year-old Dartmoor Pony who developed laminitis last year. He is also insulin resistant. After a particularly horrible experience putting some wooden specialty shoes on him, one of my veterinarians recommended that I get some Easyboot Clouds. My farrier helped me measure my pony’s hooves and I ordered the Clouds with the EVA foam inserts.

We have made many modifications to my pony’s diet, exercise, and medications to manage his laminitis. He still has occasional recurrences, but now I can start his treatment the minute I see that he is getting painful in his front feet. We put the Easyboots on and he is significantly less painful immediately. By the next day he is walking normally. I use the boots for 7 days after the onset of an episode.

The Clouds never rub his skin, they always stay on, and he can walk normally in them.  They are so easy to put on and the way they fasten is completely secure. The EVA foam inserts conform to his soles.

At this point, I do not think I will ever have to have the farrier do anything unusual or extreme again. After just one usage, the Easyboots have paid for themselves, as the special farrier work requires the vet to come out for sedation and x-rays, and the last time everything cost in excess of $700.00. These boots are essential for the successful treatment of laminitis and I cannot recommend them enough. I am so happy to have them.

  1. Thanks for sharing your story. I, too, have had a horse with laminitis, and wish I had known about these boots then.
