There are two more EasyCare partner endurance events taking place this weekend. The first is the two-day Eagle Extreme ride in the foothills of Eagle, near Boise, Idaho on June 26 & 27.
The second is the one-of-a-kind Nevada Moonshine Ride on June 26. The name of the ride hints at the one thing that sets this ride apart from almost every event in the counry: the 50-mile race starts at 7 PM and the 30 mile ride starts at 8 PM. That’s right: this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy BLM Trails throught the Nevada Desert by the light of a big, beautiful full moon.
The weather forecast for Saturday in Reno is perfect, with 0% chance of precipitation and a comfortable night-time low of 62 degrees: a welcome relief from the day-time highs in the low 90s. If you’ve ever competed in a 100 mile event, you’ll know that there is nothing more magical or mystical than riding a safe, marked trail by the light of the moon. In fact, you’ll probably take your relationship with your horse to a whole new level!
That’s not all. Dinner will be served on Saturday afternoon starting at 4:30 PM and completion awards will be awarded to all riders who successfully complete the course. Awards will also be presented to the best conditioned horse, tail end, mid pack and top ten.

Director of Marketing
I am responsible for the marketing and branding of the EasyCare product line. I believe there is a great deal to be gained from the strategy of using booted protection for horses, no matter what the job you have for your equine partner.
