I have been using EasyCare’s glue-on shoes for the past two years, initially on our broodmares and light-use riding horses. After seeing positive results and experiencing challenges with some horses that couldn’t tolerate traditional nail-on shoes, I decided to try them on my reining horses.
Surprizing Sixty Six has been in the EasyShoe Roller for about eight months now, and the improvement in her hoof health has been remarkable. She’s grown more sole and is moving more comfortably than ever before. Although I had some initial concerns about how the shoes would hold up during high-intensity maneuvers like sliding stops and spins at the top levels of competition, her performance in them quickly put those doubts to rest.
Most recently, we took home over $11,000 in the Non-Pro Derby at the Cactus Reining Classic—all while wearing the EasyShoe Roller. They stayed secure through every run and even held up perfectly during multiple saltwater therapy sessions. I couldn’t be more impressed with their performance and durability.
