About a year and a half ago I started looking for a new horse. My endurance horse died in a tragic accident three years prior, and I was completely devastated.
Fast forward three and a half years and I switched disciplines and found my love, Slews Motel, a nine-year old 17 hand thoroughbred racehorse. It was literally love at first sight.
He’s tall, dark, and handsome: every girl’s dream. In February of this year, he started the transition process to natural hoof care. With all the research my best friend and I had done, we realized that our success would rely a great deal on hoof boots. She and her husband bought the Easyboot Glove Back Country boots for their horses, and I bought the Easyboot Gloves.
The Gloves are the only way to go, especially for jumping, galloping, and trail riding. We live in Montana, so we have rugged country, couple that with galloping and jumping cross country courses and you need a boot that is low profile and stays on. I have had very few instances when a boot has come off, which I have remedied with athletic tape wrapped around the hoof. I really look forward to Easyboots further innovations with regards to hoof boots.
