This week’s photo is a little different from your usual photos of horses and riders out in the wilderness. This one was taken in Silverton, Colorado, a tiny town situated at 10,000 feet elevation in the Rocky Mountains. Silverton has a rich history of silver mining that goes back to the 19th century.
EasyCare President & CEO Garrett Ford and his wife Lisa are seen here riding next to the Durango-Silverton Train, an authentic steam driven train that runs daily between Durango, CO, and Silverton, CO.
As you can see, both horses are sporting Easyboot Glove hoof boots, which are equally at home on the pavement as they are out on the trail.
