When Not to Convert

Converting can be a good thing or even a great thing, like converting your home to solar power to save energy and money or converting your IRA account to a ROTH account if that would be better for your individual needs. You may even be considering converting to a different religion - converting can be good.

Another conversion you may be thinking about is converting from the Easyboot Epic or Bare or maybe even the Old Mac's or Boa's to our new Easyboot Glove. Trying a new boot style is a really good thing and if your horse is barefoot and fully transitioned to barefoot, the Glove boot is the best.

Here is where converting is not a good thing - converting inches to millimeters when you are measuring your horse's hooves for the Glove boot! Because the Glove fits so close to the hoof and has no hardware, it needs to be measured for really precisely which is why we chose millimeters instead of inches. Converting inches to millimeters is just not as accurate and the end result will be an incorrect size. Most rulers these days are made with inches on one side and millimeters or centimeters on the other side. If you measure in centimeters, just multiply your measurement by ten.

If your measurements do not fall into the same width and length we strongly recommend you try the Fit Kit for the Glove and Glue-On boots that EasyCare offers. It is well worth the $8.50 to get the sizing right the first time. Below is a great video of using the Fit Kit.

In the case of the measuring for the Easyboot Glove - converting is a bad thing!  As always please call our customer service at 1-800-447-8836 for sizing help and questions.
