Here are some nice shots sent in from Noel and his beloved Chief sporting the ever popular Easyboot Glove.
Chief will be 20 in September and had been shod most of his life. He has now been barefoot for almost two years and has done beautifully especially since the riding conditions are pretty rough in Africa, says Noel.
Without the boots, Chief gets pretty sore but as long as he is wearing protective boots he can go the whole day.
They mainly do trail riding interspersed with a bit of jumping in their local shows. They also ride out in the mountains with occasional views of the Atlantic Ocean. They have about 40 km of trails that are easily accessible from the stables.
