If your horse’s barefoot hooves are “not quite right” or he/she is experiencing horse hoof problems then it’s always a good idea to get a second opinion. Often we are told that “that’s just the way his/her hooves are” but that is not always the case. Many common equine hoof problems are as a result of imbalance and this can affect the whole horse. For example if your horse has a sore hock it may be due to the medial/lateral balance of the barefoot hoof being off. Or if he has no get up and go, then it may be due to sore feet. Often, behavior problems are as a result of pain so it is always wise to consider this when dealing with a difficult horse….click here for more….
