Launching the New EasyShoe

Thank you for making 2013 our best year ever!

The equine world continues to learn about better hoof care options and EasyCare hoof boot sales continue an upward trend. Bigger boot sizes was one of the most requested items in 2013 and because of this, we are adding larger sizes in three different hoof boot models. Larger sizes are now available in the Old Mac’s G2 and the Easyboot Trail: effective immediately, sizes #11 and #12 are available in both models. The Easyboot Glove Back Country will add #4.5 and #5 in April 2014. With the new sizing, EasyCare will offer 131 individual sizes spread over 13 different hoof boot models.

It gets better. EasyCare is adding a long-term form of flexible hoof protection to compliment our hoof boot range. After roughly 30 months of development and testing in many different disciplines, the EasyShoe product range is now ready for market and will benefit the health and soundness of equines around the world. We believe the EasyShoe is a great alternative to steel shoes and also has a place with barefoot horse owners: we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg for possible uses in the vet and podiatry worlds. The EasyShoe has already excelled on the flat track and in the endurance, dressage and sport horse disciplines. The entire EasyCare dealer network has the opportunity to place pre-orders starting today, and the EasyShoe will be available to ship worldwide starting in mid-February, 2014. Retail customers may pre-order starting February 3, 2014.

The new EasyShoe is a flexible hoof protection device that allows the hoof to function very similarly to the barefoot hoof. The horse's heel can still expand and contract with each footfall; the hoof capsule can expand during the shoeing cycle and the flexible urethane material allows the hoof to sense the terrain. The EasyShoe is essentially a flexible cap for the horse's hoof.

Launching the EasyShoe.

EasyCare is passionate about the equine hoof and believes that the best equine feet spend a great deal of time out of hoof protection. Barefoot time strengthens the hoof, allows for natural expansion and contraction, and hoof boots are the perfect protection when needed. Although most agree that barefoot time is crucial, horse owners often sacrifice what is ideal for their horses in order to fit our own human schedules. The EasyShoe will complement our 13 hoof boot models and gives horse owners and professionals a 3-6 week form of hoof protection that aligns with our hoof mechanism theories.
The key to successful application of the EasyShoe depends entirely upon hoof preparation and application techniques. I urge you to take the time now to look at teach of the application videos and written application guides:
Thank you for the continued support.  With your help we can influence the lives of more horses in 2014.
