When it comes to hoof boots and the barefoot horse, the Aussies know their stuff.

I just came back from helping our Australian hoof boot distributor at Equitana Asia. The four day show was a whirlwind and the booth was packed every day. Most people have barefoot horses and I’d say the majority know about or use hoof boots. When it comes to barefoot horses and hoof boots, its easy to say the Aussies lead the way.

Hoof Boots in Australia

A typical moment in the EasyCare Downunder booth. We had a constant stream of visitors.

The staff at EasyCare Downunder make up one of the most knowledgeable EasyCare distributors in the world. Mike and Chrisann Ware and their team of hoof boot specialists really know their stuff. Mike and Chrisann run a trimming school called the the Australian College of Equine Podiotherapy. They know the barefoot horse, lower leg anatomy and hoof boots better than most in the business.

Julie Wright helped in the booth and works in Australia as a hoof boot specialist. Julie knows her stuff and was incredible with customers. Check out her business at Bare Equine Australia.

Andrew Bowe, The Barefoot Blacksmith, and I did a short demo on trimming and fitting the Easyboot Glove. The seating area was packed: 30 minutes just let Andrew and I scratch the surface.

Wow. I’m not sure what the Aussies are drinking, but I’d sure like to bottle it.
