Tonka is a seventeen year old Mustang. I used to ride him exclusively until he foundered due to Cushings. That was back in September 2012. My world ended. My riding horse was gone. He suffered 10 degrees rotation in both front feet. The vet gave him a 50/50 chance of surviving. When the x-rays confirmed his rotation, he was put in Easyboot Rx for the next three months. He was put on 60 pills a day of meds plus Pergolide. When he came out of the Rx’s, I put him in Old Mac’s G2 boots and he has been in them ever since. Fast forward to now: I rode him the other day….after nine months of rest, trims and boots.
