I was looking for a horse suitable for trekking: a horse that I could get out and about and enjoy our New Zealand scenery with. I found a crossbred gelding called Oki Doki who filled my criteria so I bought him home! He was shod when I trialled him and upon removing the shoes I found that he was unsound on firm ground. I was recommended Easyboots for him along with correct hoofcare and lifestyle.
Thanks to having the Easyboot Epics we have been able to keep him moving comfortably whilst working on correcting his hooves. I love being able to go out trekking and not have to worry about his hooves. I know that when he has is Epics on, he couldn’t be better. Needless to say, my other horse also has a pair of her own Epics and I even have spare sets in various sizes so that people can try them out – they always seem to want their own pair after they’ve tried them.
