I ride with Easyboot Epics when the terrain is rocky or hard.

One day we were riding on a small mountain. Heading back down, we went to a little brook where I wanted to let my horse drink. But the surface around it that had seemed to be earth was in fact morass. When I realized this, my horse was already sunken up to his knees.

He couldn’t get out, so I needed to roll off the horse and to encourage him several times until he finally managed to get out off the mud again, luckily unhurt. You can well see the traces of the mud on his previously white legs on the photo, with was taken a few minutes afterwards.

Of course even then all four boots left the mud together with the hooves as usual.
