Hills, Rocks, Dust, and Dry Grass

I ride with a local women's trail riding group in Santa Barbara, CA. Our terrain is steep, dry, rocky, and hard. With our drought the plants are prickly, brittle, and slippery. Our trail ride last weekend was in a beautiful old land trust ranch in Buellton, CA. We camped and trailed for 3 days - luckily the weather wasn't in the 90's. My horse is barefoot, and goes well that way. He's usually fine but it's dry out here and the rocks are unforgiving, so I bought the Trail boots for our ride. It was our first time using boots. Many of the other ladies I ride with use them so I had heard good things. Let's just say I'm spreading good rumors about the boots now too! No rubbing, nothing stuck inside, my horse was happy and sound. And, I didn't have to suck in my stomach every time we hit a sharp rocky patch.
Thank you EasyCare, what they say about you is true.
