Do You Boot? My Horse Wears Dancing Shoes

My special needs horse has been through so much in his short lifetime. I purchased him out of state and had him shipped west to me. He had passed a vet check, but was not performing well for me. I thought he just needed time to grow up, but it was determined that he had degenerative joint disease.

Camp Pendleton

Now several years, vets, treatments, and supplements later, he is moving sound, doing trail riding and we even competed in the Guiness Book of World Records Ride with ACTHA at Camp Pendleton, CA this summer. As a matter of fact, I forgot to pack his Epics in the trailer on that ride, and we had to borrow my friends original Easyboots that she had spray painted red so she could fine them if she lost one along the trails. We laughed at how my horse was wearing red "dancing shoes". I was surprised when I saw the photos, at just how nice those old spray painted boots looked on him.

Thank you for your great boots that seem to last forever. I can't wait to try out the Gloves when my Epics wear out. They are so well made though, it could be a while. They really are so much better than metal shoes, they are more affordable, stay on well, don't rub and to my surprise, my gaited horses gait well in them, plus they even look good painted. The above is a photo of my Maverick in his borrowed red "dancing shoes" so you can see him dancing his way across the tarp at Camp Pendleton.
