I’m riding my husbands 4 year old Paint mare Cricket. I broke and trained her. When this picture was taken last summer she had been undersaddle for about 3 months. My girlfriend and I spent the day riding to the Prineville Reservoir, the terrain is sandy and extremely rocky, with lava outcroppings and hot weather and hard footing.
Cricket does great in Easyboot Epics with gaiters, later last summer her feet developed to full time barefoot, but I’ll still use the boots if necessary.
