Win a Free Ride Entry to Shine & Shine Only Endurance Ride on April 15, 2010!

EasyCare is offering two ride free entries to the Shine and Shine Only ride in the San Jose, CA area on April 15, 2010.

All you have to do is submit a story and photos to the Do You Boot? section of our blog. Tell us about your most memorable booting experience - whether barefoot/booted or shod/booted - and tell us why you want to attend the Shine and Shine Only ride this month.

Your name will be put into a drawing to take place on Thursday, April 8. We will draw one name for the 25-mile event and one name for the 50-mile event. The winners will get a free ride entry and we will post your ride story and photos from the ride to the EasyCare Blog once the event is over!

The Shine and Shine Only Ride was established in 1989 and has been running continuously since. The April ride is in the historic San Jose Almaden area, site of the Almaden Quicksilver Mine.

The park has old mining equipment throughout and placards indicating where various groups of miners established their camps with pictures of what the area looked like when the mines were in operation.  The Almaden Quicksilver Mine was the site where Wallace Stegner's book, Angle of Repose, was based.  The ride is hilly, but a good early ride, suitable for beginners and horses just starting out the year.  Ride managers keep it low-key and fun.

Submit your Do You Boot? story now and be entered in the drawing for a free ride entry!

P.S. Be sure to let us know which distance you want to ride.

I am responsible for the marketing and branding of the EasyCare product line. I believe there is a great deal to be gained from the strategy of using booted protection for horses, no matter what the job you have for your horse.
