The 17th Annual Washoe Valley Endurance Rides take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 1 & 2, 2010. Experience the beauty of the Virginia Mountain Range in full spring bloom, while enjoying the views of the snow-capped Sierras. There is always great food and awards, challenging trail and a fun time with friends and horses.

The desert terrain varies from rocky to sandy, has several steep climbs and downhills, some trails, cross country and jeep roads. Elevation ranges from 4600′ to 7500′.

The weather forecast is perfect for riding, with partly cloudy skies and highs at about 60. For more information go to the Washoe Valley Endurance Rides Website.
