Meadowsweet Ranch, 8118 Wilmot Road, Spring Grove, IL 60081

Friday Nov. 5th 5pm-8pm
Intro to natural hoof care. This will be an introduction into what will be discussed in the 2 day class. We will cover the hoof anatomy and function.  Class participants will also have a chance to ask questions specific to their horse and perhaps discover how natural hoof care can help their own horse. Class Fee:  $50

Saturday Nov. 6th 9am-5pm
Hoof anatomy and function will be covered in greater depth, with each part we will talk about function, pathology, and different adjustments for different hooves. Then we will learn how to divide the hoof to find vital structures and look for goal areas for improved trimming. After charting our way we will then trim the hoof with guidance from instructor for tool handling.

Sunday Nov. 7th 9am-3pm
Sunday will be the day that we dissect the cadaver hoof. Each participant will have the opportunity to explore the hoof capsule. The instructor will be doing a guided dissection as well to show students what to look for and how to remove sole, wall ect... During this time we will have question and answer as well.

Saturday and Sunday Class Fee: $250 with $50 discount for registering for all three days.
There are a few auditor spots available for $125 for those who do not want to work with the cadaver hoof. There is a $50 non-refundable deposit for the Sat/Sun clinic.  You must register by November 1st to hold your spot.  Sat/Sun clinic is limited to 20 participants. Lunch will be provided
